Participant Consoles

Hardware

Each participant console contains two computers, a video display monitor, headsets
with an attached microphone, and intercom push-to-talk buttons.

Software

The three team members have a distinct role. Each participant console has two
information displays, relevant to that role.

AVO (Air Vehicle Operator): Controls airspeed, altitude, and heading; Monitors UAV systems


PLO (Payload Operator): Adjusts camera settings to take target photos
: Monitors camera equipment

DEMPC (Data Exploitation, Mission Planning and Communications Operator): Oversees the mission

Plans a route under various constraints

Reports locations and restrictions

Several other software applications were developed for training and administering specific measures.
